The door usually opens from top to the bottom and it needs an empty space of 53 centimeters in front of it to open. There are some models that can open from right to left or vice versa!

The difference between them is that the dual built-in oven is basically two singular built-in ovens on top of each other. The doors open in the same way (from the upper side) and they do not have to be the same size. In some models, both can have the same size, and in other models the upper built-in oven might be bigger or smaller than the lower one!

The average dimensions of a dual built-in oven are as follows:  a length between 120 – 130 centimeters, a width between 55 – 70 centimeters, and a depth between 55 – 60 centimeters. It is important to check the built-in oven’s inner capacity or size. Most have similar sizes, but there are some brands that have different sizes.

Some built-in ovens have a fan to distribute heat equally inside. This feature is only available in singular built-in ovens and in one part of dual built-in ovens.

This is an important feature and so you need to check if it is available. In addition to equal heat distribution, fans can also increase cooking time by 10 minutes for each hour. This is the reason behind naming built-in ovens with fans as Turbo-ovens.
